The 23-year-old has been in excellent form for Austria Klagenfurt this season, and the Hammers’ leadership is undoubtedly keeping a close eye on his progress.

He is incredibly silky, with a wand of a left foot, and he undoubtedly has the technical capabilities needed to play for a top 10 Premier League side.

The only question mark that hangs over his head is whether he has the physical attributes required to be a hit in England’s top flight, what with its robust nature and intense speed.

He has plenty of experience in playing in the Scottish Premiership though, so he should be just fine. Andy Irving is one to keep an eye on for all West Ham fans for sure.
