Everton have appointed former Toffees striker James Vaughan as Head of Youth Recruitment at Finch Farm, according to The Secret Scout.

David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano are among the nearly 200,000 followers of the well-known X account that runs the online portal.

Vaughan left the team to take on a new position as Loans Manager as Everton looks to be more active in scouting potential future players.
