Everton: Newcastle scouts are seeing Amadou Onana and Jarrad Branthwaite at Old Trafford in a transfer update.
Newcastle scouts saw Everton’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford, including Amadou Onana and Jarrad Branthwaite, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
On March 11, the newspaper announced on its website that the two, who have also piqued Manchester United’s interest, are attracting attention from a number of other teams.
It is also stated that interest will increase due to Goodison Park’s financial position, and they may struggle to turn down bids that are near to their worth.
Given their financial circumstances, it would not be surprising to see either Branthwaite or Onana depart Goodison Park this summer, given their high values are likely to be critical to Everton’s income, both in terms of profit and sustainability standards and their own summer expenditures.
Branthwaite’s impressive achievements during his breakout season at Goodison Park have led to speculation that he may fetch up to £100 million.
Onana, meanwhile, is likely to cost closer to £50 million, resulting in a significant return on the £34 million price paid to bring him to the club during the summer transfer window of 2022.
If both are sold amid interest from Newcastle, Manchester United, Chelsea, and many other clubs throughout Europe, Everton might gain greatly in the long run if they reinvest the proceeds in shrewd new players.
Kevin Thelwell plans to modify Goodison’s transfer strategy, with important sales potentially serving as a starting point for the new approach.
