It’s always frustrating to watch, support, and write about Everton.
Even though they are frequently the superior team in games, they never make life simple for themselves or others, and as a result, they keep whining to defeat after defeat.
Maybe more than anybody else, Sean Dyche, as the team’s manager, is frustrated because despite his best efforts to put his side in the best possible position to win and watch them generate opportunities, they never manage to score.
But yesterday was when that annoyance fully showed itself.
Sean Dyche was irritated with Everton’s display.
In an interview with Everton’s official website, Dyche gave a brutal post-match analysis: “We’ve broken the record again.” You have no idea how irritated I am. I’m trying to talk sensibly about the issue, which is really annoying because we come to Old Trafford and give that kind of performance, and we still lose.
The players are doing a great job, and these figures typically show us more than what we saw today, but I’m never so foolish as to overlook the scoreline, which is the most crucial factor and the one we need to get right.
“Because I’m speaking the truth, I have to keep saying it like it is.” The Evertons present here witnessed it. Everyone was able to witness it. Seeing a team with such talent enter those places and not take a chance makes it extremely tough for me.
Sean Dyche needs to make a move quickly.
Dyche has encouraged supporters to be patient and that their form will improve because they are making the right decisions over the entire season.
Earlier in the season, that was evident, to be honest.
Their defence stayed mostly intact, and they always had high expectations for goals. It seems to be an easy way to guarantee safety, but that’s not so true anymore.
Because although that trend continues, the outcomes have not lived up to expectations.
Thus, Dyche finds himself in a difficult situation, perhaps unsure of whether to completely uproot the team or remain with a system that seems to be working but hasn’t yet produced results.
In any case, they are headed straight down the Premier League table this season due to their recent performance, so something needs to change quickly.
