The defender for Nottingham Forest, Andrew Omobamidele, has emphasised the need to put in a lot of effort in order to be given a chance to play since he doesn’t think that “handouts” exist.
Under Nuno Espirito Santo, the 21-year-old has returned to the field and appeared in six of Forest’s past seven league games after missing a significant amount of action in the first half of the season.
The youthful back insists he is relishing every moment of his time with the Tricky Trees, including the challenges that come with it.
As a realistic individual, the former Norwich City player said he will give it his all every time his boss offers him the opportunity to play, believing there are no easy handouts.
The Shut Up and Show More Football podcast host, Omobamidele, declared, “I’m enjoying and loving every minute of it.”
“I’m enjoying the challenge, and playing was all I really wanted.”
As a practical person, I understand that there are no freebies—you have to earn what you receive.
“I’m grateful that the boss gave me the opportunity to play, and I’ll give it my all every time.”
Omobamidele had a major role in 34 of Norwich City’s 46 Championship games during his last campaign.
