Full Aston Villa squad to face Tottenham as Unai Emery without four players and midfielder doubt
Latest Aston Villa news from BirminghamLive as Villans will look to distance themselves further from top four rivals Tottenham
Jacob Ramsey’s return could help Aston Villa against Tottenham on Sunday.
Due to a foot injury, the midfield player was substituted out of Villa’s 3-2 victory over Luton Town last weekend. In the 29th minute, he was substituted out for Morgan Rogers.
Unai Emery, who was absent from Villa’s Europa Conference League first-leg match in Amsterdam, has subsequently disclosed that he might play against Spurs this afternoon (1pm). “Saturday we will train for the last time in the week and we will wait for tomorrow [Sunday].”
Furthermore, in the goalless draw with Ajax, Pau Torres was substituted at halftime in favor of John McGinn, who entered the game in the second half, albeit more as a precaution. “Pau Torres and John McGinn, they will be available for Sunday,” Emery stated.
Spurs might pull farther away from fourth-place Villa in the race for the top four. Villa is now five points ahead of Spurs. Having said that, BirminghamLive examines the whole roster available for the match.
