Confirmed Celtic vs Livingston team news as Brendan Rodgers makes 2 changes for Scottish Cup quarter-final

Confirmed Celtic vs Livingston team news as Brendan Rodgers makes 2 changes for Scottish Cup quarter-final.

For today’s Scottish Cup quarterfinal match, struggling Livi will be at Celtic Park.

Before their match this afternoon at Parkhead in the Scottish Cup quarterfinal, Brendan Rodgers and David Martindale have revealed their squads.

As the Hoops try to secure a spot in the semifinals at Hampden next month in their pursuit of a Double, holders Celtic meet a struggling Livingston team. The last eight match between Celts and Liliv, which will be aired live on Viaplay Sports, has given both teams a week off to prepare. The hosts are strong favorites to face Aberdeen in the following round.

The champions will be hoping to get back to winning ways without any VAR controversy as Celtic enters the game coming off a contentious 2-0 loss at Tynecastle. Livi can take it easy because no one will be expecting the Premiership’s worst team to cause an upset in Glasgow’s east end.

Following Kilmarnock’s 3-1 loss at Pittodrie yesterday, this is the second quarterfinal match of the weekend. The league-leading Rangers will visit Hibs later tonight, and tomorrow night, in-form Hearts will make their way to Cappielow.

All eyes are on Celtic Park for the time being as the Hoops try to guarantee their spot in the hat for tomorrow. Stephen Welsh and Nicolas Kuhn replace Yang and Cameron Carter-Vickers in the team news below.

Celtic XI: Hart; Johnston, Welsh, Scales, Taylor; Tomoki, O’Riley, Bernardo; Maeda, Idah, Kuhn.

Subs: Bain, Lagerbielke, Kyogo, Holm, Oh, Vata, Kelly, Forrest, Ralston.

Livingston XI: McGovern; Montano, Obileye, Stephen Kelly, MacKay, Brandon, Bradley, Nouble, Nottingham, Sean Kelly, Yengi.

Subs: George, Donnellan, Anderson, Sangare, Shinnie, Guthrie, Culbert.
