Morgan Gibbs-White shares favourite Nottingham Forest moment
It should come as no surprise that the player’s favourite Forest memory was a victory against his childhood team.
Forest defeated the Red Devils for the first time in 29 years when Gibbs-White scored the game-winning goal against Manchester United back in December!
His well-executed goal effectively raised the roof at the City Ground and handed Forest a decisive three points.
After receiving an award from the PFA for reaching 100 Premier League games, Gibbs-White has talked about his fondest Forest memory.
On YouTube, he said to the PFA, “It was another top moment in my corner.” To win in front of thousands of Forest supporters in the Trent End, where I grew up as a Manchester United supporter. I will always remember that sensation since it was incredible.
Gibbs-White will hope for more goals
Between now and the end of the season, the player will be eager to up his goal total.
To put more distance between themselves and the bottom three, Forest needs to start winning some games.
The team is facing a points deduction, and Nuno Espirito Santo is aware that he needs his star player to perform at his peak.
It was a wonderful moment for both him and the crowd, and Gibbs-White was obviously thrilled with his goal against Manchester United.
He still has more to give in front of goal, though, and he will put in a lot of effort in training to improve his scoring.
