Alan Myers drops prediction for when Everton’s 2nd PSR hearing will be

Everton have more than enough to deal with on the pitch at the moment, without more stresses emerging off it.

Sean Dyche has performed admirably in the face of all the chaos, having successfully weathered their first PSR transgression, in which an initial ten-point deduction was lowered to six.

especially considering how turbulent the takeover has been and how 777 Partners’ contract with Farhad Moshiri has been mysteriously delayed for almost six months.

The former Burnley manager has dealt with more in a single season than most managers would in a lifetime, and he is far from being done with PSR rulings as there will be more to come.

What Alan Myers said about Everton’s 2nd PSR case

The Sky Sports reporter has been taking questions from the public on X once more, as a reporter who always tries to keep fans informed.

Myers has covered everything, including the current form and the takeover, but this most recent question relates to his forecast on their most recent PSR hearing.

Laurence Rabinowitz will be looking to pull off another miracle as they shortly take on their second claimed breach. They managed to escape with four points following a narrow victory in the appeal verdict last month.

But as is usual with the Premier League, no one is exactly sure when this historic decision will be made.

Myers has sought to give his verdict, writing on X: ‘My guess would be last week of March first week of April’.

Far sooner than we think.

More misery for Sean Dyche to deal with

Manchester United v Everton FC - Premier League

The cards Dyche has been dealt at Everton have been nothing short of demonic, despite the fact that the team’s performance of late has been absolutely awful and almost unjustifiable.

Taken on one of the most difficult tasks in English football, the former Burnley manager was hamstrung from the moment he set foot at Goodison Park. He has performed admirably so far.

Even though they haven’t won in the Premier League in eleven games, they are still four points above the bottom because to a run of excellent performances that he orchestrated early in the year.

Furthermore, it is not him who consistently wastes all of the opportunities on the pitch.

All he can do is hope that the pros can fulfil their duties after using his method to place his players in the proper spots. But so far, they have disappointed him.

For the manager, this PSR hearing is just the most recent in a long string of awkward situations that he will be happy to get past if he is still in charge at season’s end.
