Paul Bell has been named as Nottingham Forest’s new chief operating officer.

Bell has a wealth of expertise, having served as Leeds United’s executive director in the past. It is claimed that during his seven years at Elland Road, he contributed to “record commercial revenues.”Reds chairman Tom Cartledge stated, “We are thrilled to welcome Paul Bell to Nottingham Forest as our new Chief Operating Officer.” With his wealth of knowledge, track record, and in-depth awareness of the football world, he is the best person to lead our team’s operational excellence and commercial growth. As we bolster our senior team and intensify our efforts to propel the club’s future success and growth, both on and off the field, we look forward to utilizing his knowledge.

“Bell has worked in sports marketing for more than 20 years. Forest claim: “Over a five-year period, Leeds United’s retail company became the fastest-growing in European football under Paul’s guidance. Additionally, he helped the Yorkshire club secure significant sponsorship arrangements with well-known companies including adidas, SBOTOP, Hisense, JD Sports, Heineken, and EA Sports.Beyond his sponsorship, Paul made a significant contribution by leading Leeds United’s commercially successful pre-season tours to Australia and Norway and by hosting a range of international sporting events and music concerts at Elland Road, such as the World Championship Boxing, Rugby League World Cup matches, and England Senior Men’s and Women’s team friendlies.

“John Taylor, who declared his intention to depart the City Ground in September of last year, is replaced by Bell. After starting as head of finance in August 2017 and rising to the position of director of finance, Taylor became chief operations officer of the club in February 2022. “I’ve decided it’s time for me to leave Nottingham Forest after 6.5 years.” Having the chance to work for my boyhood club has been an honor.
