Everton: Pundit reacts as Sean Dyche goes ‘absolutely mental’ at Manchester United.

According to Alan Pardew, Sean Dyche went “absolutely mental” on the touchline at Old Trafford when Everton fell down after starting “so well”.

On March 9, the ex-Premier League manager responded live on talkSPORT’s website to Manchester United’s unexpected penalty scored by Bruno Fernandes after James Tarkowski fouled Alejandro Garnacho.

Pardew said the Toffees manager must have been unhappy after his team conceded a “sloppy” penalty kick despite starting the stronger.

Pardew stated, “Sean Dyche is going absolutely crazy down there over whatever. I’m not sure what it is, but he’s furious, and he must be, because his team began so brilliantly, but to give away a clumsy penalty like that and be 1-0 down, I’m sure he can’t believe it.”

“It feels like there could be loads of goals in this game – it’s chances galore!”

Sean Dyche is outraged as Everton shoot themselves in the foot at Old Trafford.

If Dyche was upset by giving the edge to Erik ten Hag’s struggling United, he would have been furious when Ben Godfrey repeated the trick midway through the half.

The Toffees got the better of the first 45 minutes at Old Trafford, but their typical failure to capitalise on opportunities left them with little to show for their efforts.

Tarkowski and Godfrey’s poor defending resulted in two obvious penalties, leaving their colleagues to rely solely on Jarrad Branthwaite and Jordan Pickford for defense.

Alan Pardew quote on Sean Dyche Everton Manchester United

Everton supporters had a mixed season, with many wonderful moments, such as Dwight McNeil’s spectacular performance, squandered due to terrible luck and self-defeating behavior.

There was a lot to enjoy in the overall performance, but Dyche would have found it difficult to reflect on it when it was completely wasted, with the damage done and a 2-0 loss to poor opponents.
