Chris Sutton predicts Nottingham Forest are set for more ‘misery’ after ‘ridiculous’ Liverpool complaint

The latest Nottingham Forest news sees Chris Sutton predicting the outcome of the Reds’ trip to Brighton this weekend.

Chris Sutton believes Nottingham Forest’s upcoming matchup with Brighton will result in additional “misery.”

The Reds are still licking their wounds from the refereeing blunder that defeated Liverpool so badly the previous time around going into Sunday’s match. They end the game with four points, just one spot above the relegation zone, with a Profitability & Sustainability charge looming large.

They travel to the Amex Stadium to take on a Brighton squad that has lost its past four games and was destroyed 4-0 by Roma in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Pundit Sutton, though, believes that streak will end in a 2-1 victory: “They are not the same team they were last season, and I’m not sure if it is European football that has affected Brighton,” Sutton told BBC Sport.

“They have only lost one league game at the Amex Stadium, so their home record is still rather respectable, but I’m not sure how big of a hit Thursday’s Europa League loss at Roma will take out of them.

Nottingham Forest was furious last Saturday after accusing the referee of causing their dramatic loss to Liverpool. However, I found it to be a little absurd, as the winning goal was scored just a few minutes after they should have had the ball after a restart.

However, it seems like Forest is still upset, and their attitude isn’t getting much better. I’m supporting Brighton to make things worse for them.
