WAIT FOR IT: CUP SEMI-FINAL DRAW DELAY

If the holders survive their last-eight match against Livingston at Parkhead on Sunday afternoon, they will have to wait more than twenty-four hours to find out who their opponents are in the Scottish Cup semi-final. On his return to the champions, Brendan Rodgers is aiming for a league and Cup double, and he is committed to leading the Hoops to the prestigious May 25 trophy showdown at Hampden.

The West Lothian club, who caused the hosts some difficulty in their 2-0 victory a few days before Christmas thanks to goals from Kyogo Furuhashi and Liam Scales in the east part of Glasgow, will not be taken lightly by the players. If all goes according to plan, Rodgers’ team will play in Monday night’s last-four draw after Hearts’ 7.45 p.m. kickoff against Championship team Morton at Cappielow. BBC Scotland will broadcast the draw live shortly after.
