New York Jets Flight Connections 3/7/24

Nation of Gang Green, good morning. I hope everyone is off to a wonderful start to the day. The New York Jets appear to be short on options to support the offensive side of the ball in terms of locating playmakers as free agency approaches. Although there are some good slot players the Jets can consider, former Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley appears to be the top free agent at the position this summer. Hopefully, I am mistaken.

Given the depth at wide receiver this year and the Jets’ position group as a whole, I hope the team makes an effort to invest in the position in the draft. At worst, it appears like the Jets may select a number of depth players at different position groups in this draft, even though they may not select many players with star potential. To make matters worse, Joe Douglas will have to come up with some inventive solutions because the crew doesn’t have many components to work with. Hopefully, everything turns out.
