Everton fans and players are not in a good situation regarding the second Premier League financial charge.
Former Goodison Park scout Bryan King claims as much, and the Toffees are still waiting to find out how much they will be fined for financial infractions.
In an initial charge earlier in the season, the Merseyside team was punished 10 points; however, that sanction has since been lowered to six points.
Speaking to Goodison News, King said: “We don’t know what the next one is, we don’t know whether they’ve been proven guilty or not.
“So that’s going to be interesting to see. It’s not a good situation for the supporters and the club, or the players. Either put them down for what they’ve done, or stop messing around.”
Everton in the dark about second Premier League charge?
There’s little doubt that everyone associated with the Goodison Park team was happy with the Premier League’s recent decision to reduce the points deduction by four points.
However, because Nottingham Forest is also implicated in the second case of financial breaches, they are still under investigation and are not yet free.
The Toffees filed an immediate appeal of the charge, and they will undoubtedly do the same for any further punishment that is meted out.
