‘He’d like to return to England’ – Everton given perfect opportunity to swoop for 23-year-old
Largie Ramazani, an eager to return to England player from Almeria, may have been given the chance to sign with Everton. As it appears that the player’s time at the Spanish club is coming to an end, La Voz de Almeria covers the player today and his plans for the summer transfer window.
According to the publication, the 23-year-old has been developing in Spain since joining Almeria on a free transfer from Manchester United in August 2020, but he hasn’t made the “final step” to persuade the board of directors. They would be open to a sale this summer, especially because he only has a year left on his present contract. He has been too inconsistent for them to pin their expectations for the future on him.
The athlete is also eager for a change of scenery and is “counting the hours” until the summer, when “he’d like to go back to England.”It is unclear if he has any suitors there, despite Everton’s frequent links to him in the past. Following earlier interest in the summer, when the Toffees were searching the market for cheap but fast forward players to add to their lineup, a report from January indicated they were still intrigued.
Ramazani may now be available for a low price as he is in the final year of his contract, but Everton never managed to sign him. There is a deal there to be done if they want it, as he is undoubtedly eager to leave Almeria and they are willing to sell as well.
