Everton: Premier League given ultimatum after new points deduction decision

Everton: Premier League given ultimatum after new points deduction ruling.

Everton fans and players are not in a good condition about the second Premier League financial charge.

That is according to former Goodison Park scout Bryan King, with the Toffees awaiting to learn their punishment for financial violations.

The Merseyside outfit were penalized 10 points in a first charge earlier this season, but that sentence has since been reduced to six points.

Speaking to Goodison News, King said: “We don’t know what the next one is, we don’t know whether they’ve been proven guilty or not.

“So that’s going to be interesting to see. It’s not a nice position for the supporters and the club, or the players. Either put them down for what they’ve done, or quit playing around.”

Everton in the dark about second Premier League charge?

Everyone linked with the Goodison Park club may have thrilled at the latest ruling from the Premier League to decrease the points deduction by four points.

But they are not in the clear yet considering how there is a second allegation hanging over their heads, with Nottingham Forest also engaged in the second case of financial infractions.

The Toffees quickly appealed the charge, and will likely do the same when the next punishment comes along, whatever it may be.
