Snake-like – Calling Out Of Former Sunderland And Rangers Boss Michael Beale Delights Ex-Top Flight Star.
Tam McManus, a former Scottish premier league player, is happy that Michael Beale’s actions prior to accepting the position at Ibrox have drawn criticism. Beale formerly managed Sunderland and Rangers.
With two manager firings in a single season, Beale’s standing as a manager has never been lower. He has been unemployed since his dismissal from Sunderland last month.
The Rangers have won the Scottish League Cup and are now atop the Scottish Premiership, thanks to Philippe Clement’s leadership since he was fired as manager in October of last year.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst, the former manager of Rangers, recently chastised Beale for attending a Gers game in the stands just before the Dutchman was fired.
Many believed that put additional strain on Van Bronckhorst, and others believe that it violated a long-standing rule in managerial circles.
McManus called the former Sunderland manager’s actions “snake-like” and stated that Beale had acted in a terrible manner.
In response to Van Bronckhorst’s remarks, the former striker took to X and wrote: “Said this at the time.”
“Beale’s snake-like behavior is concerning, and I’m glad GVB called him out.”
Beale failed to recover at Sunderland after being held accountable for Rangers’ inadequate hiring practices in the previous summer.
Mike Dodds is now in charge of Sunderland until the summer, and Beale is also losing favor with Black Cats supporters.
