Everton prepare to lose first-team star in summer transfer window amid fresh twist

Manchester United is reportedly interested in Everton first-team player Jarrad Branthwaite, therefore the club is getting ready to let him go during the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror.

The news outlet claims that the Red Devils are interested in the 21-year-old centre back, who has excelled under Sean Dyche this season, on their website on March 5.

In light of their financial difficulties, the Toffees are currently getting ready for his departure this summer, with Jacob Greaves of Hull City being considered as a possible successor.

“Jarrad Branthwaite is expected to leave Everton during the summer transfer window as Manchester United is keeping an eye on the Englishman after his standout performances for the Toffees,” the post stated.

A terrible summer transfer window awaits Everton.

Many Blues supporters will be chewing their nails during the summer transfer window in the hopes that no news would indicate good news.In order to lessen the club’s financial burden, Onana and Branthwaite could be sold. However, if the team is able to avoid relegation this season, they will need to be sufficiently replaced in order to prevent having to contend with relegation again the following season.

A player exodus is nearly a given if the team is playing championship football, and a significant reconstruction will be required to return to the top division as quickly as feasible.

However, summer planning has to be put on hold until the club finds out if 777 Partners or someone else is in command of the organisation. This is just unsustainable as the season draws to a close.

Given the level of interest in Branthwaite, it will be extremely tough to keep him at the club. However, the club is at least being ready in case it happens swiftly.
