‘Massive Problem’ : Ally McCoist shares Sean Dyche sack verdict in Everton relegation admission

Everton manager Sean Dyche shouldn’t be immune to criticism but the Toffees boss will do enough to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season, according to Ally McCoist.

With their 3-1 loss to West Ham United at Goodison Park on Saturday, March 2, the Toffees’ winless streak in the Premier League now stands at 10 games. David Moyes’ team struck twice in injury time to take all three points.

While some commentators and Everton fans have indicated that Dyche should face criticism on Merseyside, McCoist has defended the manager, saying he should be commended for managing off-field matters “tremendously well.”

He stated, “There’s nobody immune from criticism, let’s get that straight right away, whether you’re Pep Guardiola or Sean Dyche,” in a talkSPORT interview on Monday, March 4, 8:54 p.m.

Sean Dyche, like all managers, will be evaluated based on performance. One thing that is undeniable is how well he has managed everything off the pitch. Amazingly well, but to be completely honest with you, that’s not the main focus because they need to remain up since they are in a relegation battle.

“As it happens, I believe they will, and they will be alright. The issue that has long troubled me about Everton is their incapacity to score goals. It’s a huge, enormous issue.

Will Everton sack Sean Dyche if they are relegated from the Premier League?

As McCoist notes, in a time of extreme instability on Merseyside, Dyche has provided some stability at Goodison Park. Due to 777 Partners’ takeover and possible point deductions, the Toffees have been in a state of uncertainty for the whole of the campaign.

However, despite everything going on, Dyche has maintained her composure and avoided going too high or too low. But this season, Everton has struggled on the pitch with poor results, which has put them in danger of relegation.

Dyche’s team has been unlucky with a few results during the Toffees’ 10-game losing streak, but that performance is enough to send them down. If Everton hopes to avoid relegation this season, something needs to change.

It doesn’t necessarily follow that Farhad Moshiri must fire Dyche, but the Blues manager must begin producing sooner rather than later to avoid further building pressure at Goodison Park.
