Everton would love to hit the jackpot in securing all three points from a Premier League win ahead of their second charge of profit and sustainability breaches, according to Joe Bernstein.
On March 4, a journalist for the Daily Mail claimed that the Goodison Park team needed to grab three points quickly because they were now on a ten-game losing streak and risked losing more ground.
Everton recovered four points from their first ten-point deduction, so a victory over the Hammers would have been the ideal way to round off the week, but they were unable to convert their chances.

As Sean Dyche’s team continues to fall short of taking three points from the match, worries are growing over the possibility of a second points deduction at Goodison Park.
The results of both investigations might not be known until after the season, although Nottingham Forest, who are presently one point behind Everton, could also face a punishment for the same offence.
The possibility that the Premier League relegation struggle would ultimately be determined by point deductions rather than on the pitch has infuriated a lot of people, including Jeff Stelling, in recent weeks.
