Everton: Alan Pardew makes ‘desperate’ Sean Dyche admission live on air after West Ham loss

Everton: Alan Pardew makes ‘desperate’ Sean Dyche admission live on radio following West Ham loss.

Everton manager Sean Dyche will be “desperate” for a win against Manchester United following the Toffees’ defeat to West Ham United, according to Alan Pardew.

Dyche’s team extended their winless run in the Premier League to 10 matches on Saturday (2 March) as they conceded two stoppage time goals to lose 3-1 to David Moyes’ Hammers at Goodison Park.

The result left the Toffees five points above the relegation zone, with a potential second point deduction on the way and Pardew feels Dyche will do everything that he can to return back to winning ways against Manchester United.

Speaking on talkSPORT on Sunday (3 March, 20:25) he said: “Everton have gone on a run, where they are desperate for a win now and they go to Manchester United. What a game it is going to be next Sunday.

“Two managers who are desperate for a win.”

Will Everton get a second point deduction and be relegated this season?

After a great week at Goodison Park which saw Everton leap out of the relegation zone thanks to their appeal against their 10-point deduction, Saturday’s result on Merseyside would have left a bad taste in supporters’ mouth.

The Toffees didn’t deserve to lose, but one again, they let themselves down as they threw away what could have been a very vital point in their fight against relegation by allowing two late goals.
