Celtic and Rangers transfer target has already delivered his summer decision as £2.1m bargain holds one wish.

Celtic and Rangers are reportedly interested in signing the EFL standout.

Callum O’Hare is considering a move, with Celtic and Rangers expressing interest.

Premiership competitors are interested in Coventry City’s former England youth international, who is now doing well. Three La Liga clubs, including Celtic and Rangers, reportedly saw him in a recent encounter against West Brom.

According to Transfermarkt, he is valued at £2.1 million and will be available for free transfer in the summer as he has not signed a new contract. He will be in great demand after scoring nine goals and assisting four times in the English Championship. Mark Robins, Coventry’s manager, recently stated to the Coventry Telegraph that O’Hare is holding out for a Premier League move.

He stated, “Callum wants to keep his options open, and I believe everyone will have figured that out by now, and that is his choice.

“We have offered him a deal, and a good contract at that, and he wants to leave his options open to see whether there are Premier League clubs interested in taking him – whether we get into the Premier League and then become an option, or if we become an option at all.

“I think all options are on the table and he just wants to keep them open, and that’s his prerogative.”

In January, Robins informed Coventry Live that Callum is out of contract and there will be conjecture until he makes his decision public.

But the truth is that he has been offered a contract, and it is a very nice one.

“He is free to decide what is best for his future, and that is all I am concerned about. If he decides to go on, it is absolutely up to him. We want to keep him, and he understands our position.

“But, ultimately, he has to make a decision. He has been gone for nearly a year and is only now making his way back. He is out of contract in the summer and will have his own ideas. His agent will have his own views, and he will make the decision when he is fully prepared. Who knows, he could have made it already.”
