“The Rangers have been terrific under Philippe Clement, so I can’t sit here and be too critical of them. However, that will sting today since I thought there would be just one team left to play and win the game once they returned, but Motherwell had other plans. Back to the drawing board now, as the Hearts vs. Celtic game tomorrow will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the table’s appearance on Monday.”
The main talking point to emerge from the Ibrox matchup was Silva’s foul, which led to a VAR check and a penalty given to the home team. Tavernier executed his attempt with skill, and McCann believes the authorities made the right decision.
“I do think it is the right decision,” he continued.
