According to a rumour, the Dallas Cowboys are expected to lose one of its All-Pro mainstays in free agency.

Tyron Smith, a left tackle who has played for Dallas for his whole 13-year career, is expected to depart the organisation this summer, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. On the open market, Smith is anticipated to be “highly coveted” by other teams.

Dallas would suffer a significant loss as a result. Smith has been selected for eight Pro Bowls and has been named an All-Pro five times, including the most recent season. Considered one of the top offensive linemen in the game, he has shielded the blind side of Cowboys quarterbacks since Tony Romo’s time.

The Cowboys have said that they are going “all-in” throughout the offseason, and they have been connected to a few transactions that support that claim. But Smith would be difficult to replace, particularly given that the club is now expected to compete.
