Following charges for suspected breaches in their 2022–2023 accounts in January, Everton and Forest are both facing nervous waits.

Forest’s case is scheduled for hearings on March 7 and 8.

Should it be discovered that they violated the regulations, they will lose points. An appeal could be filed against the decision, which is not anticipated until April.

If there is an appeal, the process might continue until May 24, which is one week after the season ends on May 19.

Everton received a 10-point deduction in November for violating the profit and sustainability regulations (PSR) for the three-year term ending in 2021–2022.

After an appeal, the punishment was lowered to six points.
