Brentford boss wants Premier League to make decisions on Everton and Nottingham Forest

Brentford boss Thomas Frank has called on the Premier League to impose points deductions before the end of the season on clubs deemed to have broken Financial Fair Play rules.

The Bees are two spots above the relegation zone, but Nottingham Forest and Everton, two other struggling teams, could lose points for violating the Football Playoffs.

Following an appeal, Everton’s 10-point deduction for prior violations was lowered to six points; however, the Merseyside club may yet face more penalties.

Frank stated: “It looks like Everton and Nottingham Forest will lose ground.

They’ll contest that, but it’s crucial that we find out what that is before the season is out.

“It’s so easy for me: you breach the rules, and you get punished. Discussion comes to an end. That is the world of football and the civilization we inhabit.

“The Premier League must determine when point deductions can be made public prior to an appeal being filed. Before the season ends, we must then have that response.

Frank, however, argued that the uncertainty has not damaged his team and that he has not discussed the subject with the players “one word.”

“Why should I care about other clubs when we haven’t been charged for any FFP breaches?” he continued.

Ben Mee, a defender for Brentford, will miss the remainder of the season due to an injury.
