Rangers are flying after Kilmarnock victory

Rangers’ attempts to win the SPL title outside of the Old Firm derby were thought to be tested the most

in the last two games against Hearts and Kilmarnock.

They came through both of those games with flying colours, but the points were secured under

completely different circumstances.

The Gers smashed five past the Jambos before they got a real scare at Killie, with the hosts taking a lead

in at half-time before Tavernier and Tom Lawrence turned things around.

That is the type of character that was seriously lacking from this group of players at the start of the

season, but it clearly just needed the right man at the helm to bring that out of them.

As they attempt to win the SPL title ahead of Celtic this season, Clement will be counting on his players

to keep up their strong play and demonstrate why they are a force to be reckoned with.
