One manager has now acknowledged that he would like to work for Manchester United or Everton someday, even though neither position appears to be open right now.
Even if things will eventually need to go better, Erik ten Hag, who hasn’t had the easiest time at Old Trafford, doesn’t appear to be in danger at Man United right now.
However, Sean Dyche is doing a fantastic job at Everton, despite his desire to improve his team’s results as the season draws to a close.
However, Wayne Rooney appeared to be undecided about his next career choice when asked.
Rooney acknowledged that those chances might not come along very soon while covering Man United’s cup match against Nottingham Forest for the BBC.
Despite being fired from his position as manager of Birmingham City after just 83 days in charge, Rooney doesn’t appear to have been discouraged.
Rooney lost nine of his fifteen games in Birmingham, but he still seemed eager to move on and establish his reputation.
Wayne Rooney hopes to coach Everton or Manchester United in the future.
At 38 years old, Rooney is still a very youthful manager, and he said that he wanted to reestablish himself as a coach.
That is, of course, the goal, he stated. You want to try your hand at all these major jobs, United, Everton.
But in order to ensure that within the next ten years I’m in a position where I may potentially move into one of the big jobs, I have to go through the procedures to get myself back on track and back into management.
Naturally, you would have to assume—and maybe as Rooney suggests—that the previous member of both teams wouldn’t be prepared for either position if it were offered in the upcoming months.
Having said that, it doesn’t appear that Man United or Everton will be hiring a new manager anytime soon.
Fans of both teams, though, will undoubtedly be happy to hear Rooney speak with such ambition and clarity.
Having stated that, a journalist has recently started to discuss what he has been told regarding Erik ten Hag and Marcus Rashford’s current romance.
