Jose Cifuentes discusses his departure from the Rangers and one thing he won’t miss.

The midfield player was only with Glasgow for five months before being sent on loan to Cruzeiro in Brazil.

In an effort to launch his career in Brazil, Jose Cifuentes has disclosed that he turned down offers to relocate to England, Turkey, and Russia.

After a dismal five months with Rangers, the Ecuadorian midfielder was free to return to South America. Cifuentes, who was signed by Michael Beale, didn’t arrive from Los Angeles FC until August, but Philip Clement soon decided he wasn’t needed.

With Cruzeiro holding the option to purchase the playmaker at the conclusion of his loan agreement, the 24-year-old will now try to restart his career. And after making his formal media debut, Cifferets concedes that, upon moving back to a warmer area, he won’t miss the dreary Glasgow weather.

“Two Russian teams wanted to sign me,” he stated. But given the ongoing conflict, it was impossible to implement, as I believe European teams are currently prohibited from accepting sponsorship from Russian teams.

“A Turkish club and a team from the English Championship were both interested. However, it would have only been a five-month loan, which would have required them to move away from their families once more after having to adjust to life in Scotland.

Consequently, I had to decide what was best for them, which is why I’m in Brazil. It was a beautiful day when I made my Cruzeiro debut last week. For the six months I was with Rangers, I saw no sunlight. It was consistently chilly.

But I’m in good shape, so I should have no trouble adjusting to this place. Although I prefer to play as an offensive midfielder, I adjust my positioning depending on the club I’m playing for.”
