The Hoops were in good form going into the match against Dundee. Three headers gave them a 3-0 lead after just over 20 minutes, and they would go on to defeat the Dens Park team 7-1.

Following headers from Adam Idah, Matt O’Riley, and Cameron Carter-Vickers, the halftime score was 6-0 thanks to goals from Daizen Maeda, Greg Taylor, and Callum McGregor. Before the visitors scored a goal back in the end, young Daniel Kelly scored his first goal for Celtic, bringing the score to seven.
