Kevin Thomson, a former player for Rangers, has criticized John Lundstram’s handball call that resulted in Kilmarnock’s penalty in the Scottish Premiership match.
The former Ibrox midfielder criticized the judgment on social media site X after it was determined that Rangers player John Lundstram had handballed a cross into the box.
At the end of a hard first half for the visiting team, Rangers were behind 1-0 after Kilmarnock winger Danny Armstrong converted the ensuing penalty.
Kevin Thomson is irritated by this circumstance and has expressed his dissatisfaction on social media.

The lenient penalty call, in which John Lundstram was deemed to have handled the ball despite jumping into the cross in the box, has infuriated Rangers supporters.
There is little dispute that this penalty falls into the soft category, but the question is whether Lundstram’s hand was outside of his body at the time of the initial touch.
Surprisingly, whistler David Dickinson was unable to sound the spot kick promptly enough, and the VAR room staff hardly had time to examine the event at all.
The fluttering Borna Barisic, who attempted to cheaply purchase a free kick in the pitch’s corner before it was awarded but was actually penalized for handling the ball, has also drawn a lot of criticism.
Rangers have all to do in the second half.
Rangers are currently laboring at Rugby Park as Philippe Clement’s team finds it difficult to exert any influence over the match.
Rangers are finding it difficult to generate any real opportunities, while Kilmarnock are resolute, dedicated, and well-organized.
Kilmarnock has wasted their finest chances of the half and might have been up by at least two goals at the interval if they hadn’t squandered them.
The Rangers team has a critical 45 minutes ahead of them as they try to send a message to the Scottish Premiership and gather momentum for a title challenge.
