Tremendous’ – Ally McCoist blown away by what he saw in Rangers win v Hearts
Ally McCoist described Rangers‘ victory over Hearts at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership as “tremendous,” with Philippe Clement leading the way.
Thanks in part to a superb brace from Cyriel Dessers, the Light Blues defeated Steven Naismith’s team 5-0 on Saturday, February 24, maintaining their two-point lead over Celtic at the top of the Premiership table.
Even though there is still a lot of football still to play before the season ends, McCoist called the outcome for the Gers “fantastic” and acknowledged that he has enjoyed how the team has changed under Clement.
On Monday, February 26, at 7:55 p.m., he spoke on talkSPORT and stated: “Rangers, it must be mentioned, had an incredible outcome over the weekend. He’s doing great, and I adore
That was a pretty impressive effort over the weekend, with an even more impressive outcome.
This season, can Rangers defeat Celtic to win the Premiership?
Even the most upbeat Rangers supporters acknowledged that Celtic already had a hand on the Premiership trophy this season after Rangers’ loss to Hearts earlier in the season. It feels like a long time ago now.
But after a few months and a new management, the Light Blues are back on top in Glasgow and are currently the team most fans and analysts believe will win the trophy at the end of the campaign.
Even though there is still a ton of football left to play, including domestic cups, league play, and Europe, the Gers have proven with their impressive victory against Hearts that they are capable of defeating any team they play against when they are at their best.
Rangers need to step up in the final Old Firm games as this title race will come down to the wire, but Clement’s team is in the lead and they can’t let this fantastic opportunity pass them by this season.
