There’s A Feeling – Rangers Star Lifts Lid On Gers Connection.

Rangers player Jack Butland has acknowledged that he has a genuine bond with the Gers and emphasized that he would not readily give it up.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper has been a standout player for Rangers since joining the team on a free transfer last summer.

During the winter transfer window, Rangers turned down a bid for Butland from Premier League team Nottingham Forest.

Butland praised the eight months he has spent at Rangers as a reward for his patience and perseverance, emphasizing that he was not tempted to leave despite getting interest from the Premier League in January.

He went on to say that he feels a connection with the Gers that he hasn’t felt with any other team in a long time and emphasized that he won’t give up the relationship he has built with the Rangers.

Butland told BBC Scotland that he had no desire to rejoin the Premier League in January when questioned.

I’ve not had this connection or feeling in a club in a very long time.

“You don’t easily relinquish that.”

“These past eight months have been an incredibly unique time in my career.

“This is the happiest thing I’ve ever experienced because it feels like a reward for my patience and perseverance.”

Butland has helped Philippe Clement’s team go up to the top of the league table by keeping 17 clean sheets in 27 games for Rangers.
