Although I don’t think we should have been penalized in the slightest, our formidable club has benefited greatly from regaining four crucial points.Mike Parry, an Everton stakeholder, doesn’t think the Toffees should have lost any ground.
Nottingham Forest and Everton are both preparing for the second PSR charge, which is still a minor issue. If that’s the case and an appeal is filed, the outcome won’t be known until one week following the conclusion of the Premier League season. So there’s some clarity for the Toffees, but this strange campaign might yet have a few more twists and turns. Not to even mention the entire takeover drama.
