Rangers secret agent almost lands yet another blow on Celtic as pressure ramps up

As pressure mounts, a Rangers undercover agent nearly delivers another blow to Celtic.

Adam Devine, a Rangers loanee, experienced heartache in the closing moments as Celtic avoided yet another point loss against Motherwell thanks to two goals in injury time.

This season, the 20-year-old Ibrox right-back is on loan with the Steelmen. He started the final 3-1 loss against our Old Firm opponents at Fir Park.

And had Motherwell held out against the Parkhead team, who scored twice in injury time to end the game, it might have been a game that young Adam Devine will remember.

Devine, a graduate of the Rangers Academy, was making his third straight league start for Motherwell, and he was likely upset not to inflict more damage on our Old Firm opponents.

Motherwell led the game at halftime thanks to a goal from Blair Spittal, and six minutes after the restart, Adam Idah equalized.

After that, in the 94th minute of injury time, the Irish striker scored a vital goal, and Luis Palma completed the scoring to reduce the lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to two points.

It’s interesting to note that by this time, Oli Shaw had replaced Adam Devine on the Motherwell field, rendering him unable to withstand a late Celtic comeback.

We discussed the young player’s position in the title chase this season prior to the game, and Devine will be upset not to have scored any more points.

Adam Devine, according to Fot Mob, earned a 6.8 rating throughout the game, winning all eight of his ground duels and making six clearances and eight recoveries.

Ranger’s pressure in the Scottish Premiership needs to continue.
Following Rangers’ 5-0 thumping of Hearts at Ibrox, Celtic faced pressure to reply against Motherwell in Lanarkshire.

A late double kept the Parkhead team within striking distance of the Rangers, as they appeared destined for yet another set of lost points.

Under Philippe Clement, the Gers have been playing consistently well, and Celtic has not been able to keep up with them in recent weeks.

There’s a sense of unease surrounding the Parkhead side that doesn’t exist at Ibrox, and it seems like we should wait it out.

and going about our business.

The east portion of the city is not doing well, and after holding off Motherwell, they will need to get better in order to face more difficult tests in the future.

According to Steven Naismith, a Scottish Premiership Rangers “reality check” has sent his Hearts team plummeting back to Earth.

The former Ibrox striker was speaking following his Hearts team’s 5-0 humiliation at the hands of a dominant Rangers outfit, who now lead the Scottish Premiership by five points.

Hearts was riding high going into the match, having won nine of their previous ten games and going into a 12-game unbeaten streak. The trip to Rangers would be a test of Hearts’ Premiership credentials.

However, this is a test. Steven Naismith feels confident in his Hearts team.

However, this is a test. Steven Naismith thinks his Hearts team failed because the dejected but truthful manager of the Jambos commended the championship-chasing Rangers.

On the “reality check” for Hearts, Steven Naismith
After the game against the Rangers, Steven Naismith took to the media to expose the shortcomings of his Hearts team, saying they were unable to handle the intensity of Ibrox.

Rangers was solidly on the ball and laser-focused in Glasgow from the opening minute, and the Hearts boss believes it should serve as a wake-up signal to his faltering players.

“Everyone knew,” Naismith remarked. There isn’t really much conversation that has to be had because we are an honest and open community.

“We realized that we never played, we never had enough control when we had the ball, and we lost badly thought goals.”
the ball, and we’ve never performed at our level before.

Although it’s discouraging because we’ve made progress, it serves as a reality check. It’s difficult to win while playing the best teams; you have to perform almost flawlessly.”

Leading Rangers in the Scottish Premiership displayed “respect.”
Speaking on the game, Steven Naismith believes that Rangers were encouraged before Hearts’ visit because they had won the league the previous weekend.

The contentious former Glasgow player has also shown “respect” to the Ibrox team following their daring performance in Glasgow.

“We knew they would start fast and the atmosphere would be loud after last week’s Rangers game against Celtic and their league-leading status,” added Naismith.

We most likely handled that inadequately. It’s an uphill battle once we give up the two goals, one early in the first half and one early in the second. It’s a lesson worth taking away.

“You need to treat Rangers with respect. They are enjoying themselves. We always knew that the league would take off quickly, and that was the case last week.

“They used their press pretty aggressively, and we didn’t handle it effectively enough.

“That’s what happened when you played against Celtic and Rangers; they have the quality to hurt you.”

Thanks to goals from Mohamed Diomande, Oscar Cortes, Fabio Silva, and Cyriel Dessers (twice), Rangers overcame Hearts 5-0.
