Calvin Bassey, a favorite of Rangers, has contributed to Fulham’s fantastic opening goal, leaving Manchester United stunned.
The Nigerian international, who signed for Ajax in 2022 after joining from Leicester City as a talented young player, departed Ibrox for a club record fee. He is currently playing for Fulham in the Premier League, and he was crucial to the team’s 2-1 victory under Marco Silva.
On an unforgettable day at Old Trafford, Bassey opened the scoring and his international teammate Alex Iwobi netted the winner in the 97th minute, following Harry Maguire’s equalizer in the 89th.
