Quite easily’ – Kris Boyd makes Rangers v Hearts admission live on Sky Sports

Rangers: Kris Boyd makes 8-0 admission on Sky Sports after what happened v Hearts at Ibrox.

Rangers might have easily defeated Hearts 7-0 or 8-0, according to Sky Sports analyst Kris Boyd.

The Gers trounced the Jambos 5-0 at Ibrox on Saturday (24 February), increasing their advantage at the top of the league.

Mohamed Diomande, Oscar Cortes, and Fabio Silva all scored in January, with Cyriel Dessers adding two more.

According to Sky Sports Scotland, Boyd believes Hearts are now the best of a terrible group. “It was 5-0, but it could quite easily have been seven or eight the way they went about it.”

Rangers defeat Hearts to increase pressure on Celtic.

Celtic had been leading the Scottish Premiership for most of the season before their bitter city rivals overtook them early this month.

Brendan Rodgers’ squad has underperformed, whereas Philippe Clement’s side has performed admirably.

Hearts went to Ibrox full of confidence after a good run of form, but their chances of taking four points on the road were immediately destroyed.

The home team delivered a five-star performance, with the Ibrox crowd cheering them on from the start.

The Gers must maintain their success in the league, Europa League, and Scottish Cup.

Surprisingly, a domestic treble is now on the agenda for Clement’s first season in charge, as well as the possibility of European success.
