Everton Reveal: What Sean Dyche has told Amadou Onana amid Goodison exit speculation..

Everton boss Sean Dyche will be encouraging Amadou Onana to focus on saving the team from relegation this season.

That is according to former Toffees scout Bryan King after it emerged that Chelsea have initiated negotiations with Everton over a move for the midfielder.

Onana chose to stay at Goodison last month after crunch talks with his agency, with King claiming the Toffees are not exploring a trade with Chelsea.

Speaking to Goodison News, King said: “I don’t know whether they are considering those options to be honest. I think at the moment what Sean Dyche’s major point to the players who are involved in the relegation fight is that ‘we’re concentrating on one thing, the next game, we need to get results.’

“It’s always going to be paper talk about the good young players and the way they’re performing, always speculation.

“But what Dyche must ensure is that this does not affect performances, and I would imagine that players who are being talked about in transfer terms have been told this in not too many words, I can tell you.

“‘There is enough to worry about without you going somewhere else. Read about it, look at it, get on with the job in hand.’”

It is definitely true that exit-linked players like as Onana do not get sidetracked by transfer talk, with the Toffees presently severely immersed in a relegation battle.

The midfielder has played brilliantly for the Merseyside outfit since coming, and Dyche cannot have too many complaints thus far.

But the man in the dugout will be furious if the paper talk goes to the player’s head at this key stage of the season.

In other Everton news, John Cross seems to suggest one Toffees loanee should be penalized as he starts a Premier League player controversy.
