Arsenal “values” £6,037,200 worth Super Star Player of Everton.

According to trade expert Fabricio Romano, Arsenal “appreciate” Everton player Amadou Onana and may attempt to sign him this summer.

The 22-year-old had a strong debut season in the Premier League last season after transferring to Goodison Park ahead of the season, helping his team avoid relegation.

The Belgian has continued to put on impressive displays this season, and it seems the Gunners have expressed interest in signing him to bolster their engine room after being pleased with his recent play.

Talking to Caught Offside, Romano stated that Onana has a “good chance” of leaving Everton this summer and that Arsenal “appreciates” him, suggesting that Mikel Arteta’s team may be able to sign him in the off-season.

Onana heading to Arsenal

It’s unclear who Arsenal will ultimately decide to acquire to bolster their midfield, as the writer claims that Arsenal is also interested in signing Martin Zubimendi.

Romano stated:

“I’m confident that a lot of teams will be eager to recruit Amadou Onana this summer. Although I have already stated Martin Zubimendi, Arsenal appreciates him and is well-informed. However, they need to decide what kind of player they want to buy, and that decision won’t be made in February; it will take some time. Either way, Onana is drawing attention, and I believe he has a strong chance of moving in the summer.

Everton is in a strong position to demand a hefty payment if they are forced to cash in on Onana this summer. It has been speculated that the Toffees might ask at least £50 million. Onana still has more than three years left on his current contract.

Nevertheless, Everton is currently in risk of relegation after receiving a 10-point deduction for breaking the FFP regulations. If they are unable to guarantee themselves a spot in the top division for the upcoming season, they may have to sell Onana this summer for a low price.

With his talent, Onana might be a wise addition to Arsenal’s midfield to bolster their group. It would be intriguing to watch, though, if the North London team decides to sign him before the upcoming campaign.
