Over his time at Everton, Jordan Pickford has encountered a good number of elite players.
During his seven seasons at Goodison Park, England’s top player had to prevent some of Europe’s best players from putting the ball in his net.
The 29-year-old has, for the most part, been a great servant, providing crucial moments when his team most needed them.
The former player for Sunderland has now identified the strongest foe he has encountered while at Everton.
Jordan Pickford identifies his most difficult opponent to date.
In an interview with Everton’s official YouTube channel, Pickford cited Harry Kane as the most formidable opponent he has encountered.
“That is difficult for a goalie to do. I’d pick Harry Kane as a finisher,” he remarked.
After spending £104 million to join Bayern Munich in 2023, Kane has had a fantastic season, scoring 25 goals in the Bundesliga.
The Englishman’s standing as one of the greatest strikers in the world has not wavered in spite of Bayern’s dismal league performance.
This summer, Kane and Pickford will travel to Germany with the goal of winning the first silverware for England since 1966.

Pickford deserves praise for his consistency. He has contributed significantly to Everton’s attempts to survive and has performed flawlessly for England.
The former Everton defender Phil Jagielka stated on talkSPORT that he thinks Pickford ought to start when England begin their campaign in the summer.
Pickford is in goal. He has never failed England. Jordan exclaimed, “You give as good as you get and you sort of smile and laugh it off, so I’m alright with it.
“The game might be affected if you bring in a younger center half who isn’t used to playing in front of Jordan,” he continued.
“Since Harry and Jordan have both shown their mettle,”
