Everton appeal news: Joe Anderson fires Premier League and review panel accusation.

Joe Anderson has struck out at the three-member panel assessing the Premier League’s decision to remove 10 points from Everton earlier this season.

The former Mayor of Liverpool has accused the panel of “colluding” with the Premier League, with no judgment yet made on the club’s appeal, leading to additional “uncertainty and damage”.

The Toffees have been left in the dark on their appeal of the 10-point deduction, with Sean Dyche’s side dangling above Luton Town, who are barely in the relegation zone on goal difference.

Taking to X on Thursday (22 February), Anderson wrote: “It is inconceivable that the three-member panel reviewing the Premier League’s decision to deduct 10 points from Everton have not reached a conclusion.

“We can therefore conclude that they are colluding with the PL allowing the uncertainty & damage to continue.”

However, even those focusing purely on the Toffees, are increasingly apprehensive about the damaging effect this wait could have at Goodison Park, who are being threatened by the danger of relegation for the third successive season.

, with no update on that despite the original charges arising months ago.

Everton need to discover the verdict of their appeal sooner rather than later, with the nervous wait from the three-member panel generating more difficulties than they are aiming to cure, or keep in line.

Frustration at Goodison Park will just continue to rise while the wait continues, and the current silence from the panel is nearly deafening, with fans inquiring every day when an update would emerge.
