From the beginning to the end, this entire affair has been a complete disaster, and the truth is that nobody really knows when the Toffees will likely learn the result of their appeal.
However, one thing is for sure: there is a genuine, time-sensitive issue going on.
Everton, as we know, were hit with a second PSR charge – this time alongside Nottingham Forest – and any punishment for those charges, if found guilty, have to be made before the end of the season.
It is anyone’s guess as to why this is still going on. Clarity about the matter must be provided immediately because Everton needs to know what kind of situation the Premier League will be putting them in going forward.
