Only 3 people know when Everton & PL will be informed of confidentiality-bound decision

Everton: Major appeal news as three people confidentiality-bound before Premier League contact

Martin Lipton claims the Premier League has no control over when the outcome of Everton’s appeal against a 10-point deduction will be revealed.

On Thursday (22 February), The Sun’s lead football reporter revealed on his X account that only the three members of the independent commission considering the appeal know when the announcement will be made to Everton and the Premier League.

Lipton added that the three parties concerned are obligated by confidentiality, and as a result, the Premier League has not revealed any information about the time of the decision’s public announcement.

Everton was penalized in November after being found guilty of violating the league’s Profit and Sustainability criteria, and their appeal against the conviction was heard earlier this month.

When will Everton receive the outcome of their appeal against the 10-point Premier League deduction?

The situation has been confusing, and it remains unclear when the Toffees’ appeal will be heard.

But one thing is certain: there is a genuine time-sensitive catastrophe taking place.

Everton, as we all know, was charged with a second PSR charge, this time alongside Nottingham Forest, and any punishment for those accusations, if proven guilty, must be applied before the season ends.

It’s not clear why this is taking so long. Everton require instant clarity about their future situation after exiting the Premier League.

Of course, due care must be exercised and the proper conclusion reached, but the longer this procedure takes, the worse the situation becomes.

Simply put, the club, its supporters, coaching staff, and players all deserve better.
