Before their Premier League match, Everton confirms a serious injury blow to Brighton.

Andre Gomes, an Everton midfielder, is expected to be out for this Saturday’s Premier League matchup at the Amex Stadium against Brighton.
Brighton, who now sit seventh in the league, will be brimming with confidence after their most recent 5-0 triumph against Sheffield United.
Everton is also optimistic after moving out of the drop zone and into 17th place following their 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Monday.
Gomes, though, will probably be out while he continues to heal from a calf injury. The 30-year-old midfielder hasn’t played since winning the FA Cup match against Palace on January 17.
Gomes has a past with calf problems, and Dyche acknowledged last week that he’s not ready to take unwarranted chances.
“Andre is back on the grass, but it still has to be a delicate one with his calf because he’s had a few of them now, so we’ve got to be careful with that.”
With Solly March (knee), Jack Hinshelwood (foot), Julio Enciso (knee), and James Milner (thigh) slated to miss Brighton’s match against Everton, the team is still dealing with injuries.
