Milan hierarchy hit disagreement over potential Pioli successor

There is a disagreement brewing among the decision makers at AC Milan over who could be the potential successor to Stefano Pioli at the end of this season, a report claims.

According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the new special advisor, and a few other Milan executives are at odds over what should happen in the summer in the event that Pioli is not permitted to finish out his contract.

Given how successfully he has led the Gialloblu to victory this season, it appears that most Milan decision-makers believe that Thiago Motta, the coach of Bologna, is the greatest option.

Leao admits tough start with Pioli: "At the beginning we weren't on the same wavelength"

They went through a slump, but they appear to have bounced back and are currently primarily winning, which is further indication that Motta is an excellent manager.

Regarding Ibrahimovic, he believes that Antonio Conte, who is now available, would be the greatest choice for the team considering his extensive Serie A experience—he has already won the league with both Juventus and Inter.

Despite the club being two points off of second place, some fans’ resentment of Pioli was stoked by the Serie A defeat to Monza.
