Ianis Hagi delivers Rangers Ibrox love message as fans all say the same thing.

The winger clearly still has Ibrox on his mind despite being in Spain

Ianis Hagi may be out on loan in Spain but he hasn’t forgotten what it’s like to play at Ibrox if his social media is anything to go by.

After a long-term injury, the Romanian winger was loaned to La Liga side Alaves for the season after struggling to establish himself under previous manager Michael Beale. He’s doing okay with a couple of goals and an assist and has also been on form for his country in recent international matches.

However, he still seems to be thinking about Rangers. Yesterday marked four years to the day since the Light Blues came from 2-0 down to beat Braga 3-2 at the famous stadium in the Europa League round of 32. Hagi himself was the star of the show as he struck two, including the winner, with Joe Aribo getting the other.

Celebrations inside Ibrox were more than fitting for such a massive comeback and the atmosphere was visible from the shared clip.

With Hagi tagged in the tweet, he was quick to respond and quote tweeted it with the caption: “Ibrox baby, it’s just different!”, adding a blue heart.

Gers fans were equally buzzing and hoped the display of love for the club could hint at a return.

One said: “Come back and do it all over again next season?”

Another wrote: “Can’t wait to see you back playing for Rangers.”

Another said: “Miss you. The horrible man is away.”

While another added: Get home, get a pre-season under big Phil and we will see the best of you next season.”
