‘He’s so loud’… Vitaly Mykolenko shares who is the funniest player in Everton’s team.

Footballers are rarely questioned on topics unrelated to their team’s performance.

Everton players are frequently questioned about their performance or reactions to VAR decisions.

Sky Sports recently featured Vitaly Mykolenko answering questions unrelated to his performance on the pitch.

Vitaly Mykolenko talks up about life at Everton.

The 24-year-old has had a terrific season, claiming the left-back position.

Sean Dyche’s influence has helped the Ukrainian feel more at home on Merseyside.

He has started 20 of Everton’s 25 Premier League games and is likely one of the first names on the team sheet.

Mykolenko has now opened out about his teammates at Finch Farm.

According to Sky Sports, the left-back believes Nathan Patterson is the funniest player. He’s quite noisy in the dressing room, but he’s also very humorous. He is usually upbeat.”

It’s encouraging to see the Scot remain positive despite just starting nine games this season. The 22-year-old has been plagued by injuries throughout his tenure at Goodison Park.

The defender’s last appearance came in the Toffees’ FA Cup loss to Luton Town in mid-January.

At the moment, Dyche prefers to use a more experienced right-back. Nonetheless, Patterson remains persistent in his ambition to impress the former Burnley manager.

“The Gaffer says to us, ‘Anytime you get an opportunity you have to take it’,” he was quoted as saying by Everton TV.

“It’s good to know you’re in his plans for the future, as well as for the present. When he plays me from the start, I want to make sure I’m giving my best and showing him why I should be on the team.”

Patterson will most certainly be called upon between now and the conclusion of the season, and the right-back must seize his opportunity.

As Ashley Young’s career nears the end, the Toffees may consider the 22-year-old as a long-term option for that position.
