Columbus, Ohio Before entering the NFL, wide receivers Chris Olave and Jaxon Smith-Njigba both had very successful careers at Ohio State, but even they are aware that the league may face a more serious issue this spring.
After making many noteworthy plays during his career, Olave graduated as the Buckeyes’ all-time leader in touchdown catches. In 2022, he was selected in the first round by the Saints, where he went on to have consecutive seasons with 1,000 yards or more. Despite not being able to duplicate his 2021 season, in which he set school records with 95 receptions for 1,609 yards, Smith-Njigba was still the first wide receiver selected in the 2023 NFL Draft due to a hamstring injury.
