Everton: Jarrad Branthwaite & Amadou Onana wanted by Manchester United in ‘Ambitious’ raid

Everton: Manchester United is pursuing Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana in connection with a “Ambitious” raid.

As part of a “ambitious” transfer drive, Manchester United want to recruit Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana this summer.

French journalist Seb Ecrivain Foot claims that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is targeting the two young players from Goodison Park after he acquired a 25% ownership in the Old Trafford team in a post on his personal Twitter account on February 20.

The Red Devils are thinking of making a double swoop, and with the Toffees’ financial problems well-documented, the team may try to cash in on their players to balance the books.

He added, “Jarrad Branthwaite and Amadou Onana from Everton are being considered for signing by Manchester United.”

“The Red Devils, led by new minority co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, are gearing up for a massive summer of hiring to bolster their roster.”

Do Everton’s top players need to be sold?

To put it succinctly, being relegated would be disastrous, but staying up and being a Premier League team wouldn’t guarantee our safety either.

The club is in a terrible financial situation right now, and even if it is a premier league side, it could still need to be dismantled and sold in order to be truly stable at this moment.

The club’s two greatest assets, Branthwaite and Onana, will undoubtedly get the greatest interest from teams throughout Europe, and high prices will probably be asked and paid for both.

In a perfect world, Everton would only need to trade one of the two to help assemble a potent roster and continue to strive in the upcoming season, with the ultimate goal of holding onto every player and climbing the standings.

However, in all likelihood, the club will have to take the players into consideration if significant offers are made, and if Man United makes a double-offer, it will probably come at a hefty cost. Everton will be hoping that this is all rhetoric on paper.

Roy Keane is furious about what he witnessed Everton do in February, in other Everton news.
